My shoes squeak

especially the left foot is the one that really squeaks

I went out the other day to buy a pair of shoes
I should be happy but I'm not that pair was wrong to choose
I found a pair I liked so much and bought them right away
I'll tell you why I think that it was not my lucky day

I don't know if you ever had a pair of shoes that squeak
you try to walk a special way and look just like a freak
I'll tell you it's embarrassing and makes you feel a fool
to have a pair of shoes that squeak it isn't very cool

I went down to the library to sit and read a book
as I walked down to get a seat they all gave me that look
I don't think I'll be back again for quite some time I'm sure
I tried to walk without a sound just looking at the floor

I'll give you one advise when you are out to buy some shoes
to get a pair of shoes like mine will only bring you woes
don't buy the ones you like by look unless you try them first
they'l make you feel unhappy and will make you feel your cursed
