Put on your hat and overcoat the sun is out to day
it is the only antidote against the U V ray
and careful we must be so we will not get sick
so if we all are covered up it's bound to do the trick
although the sun is nice it's dangerous you know
so cover up from top to toe if we in sunshine go

Now if you go down to the beach don't bring your bathingsuit
you would be burnt right to a crisp so better ware a suit
I know you would prefer to show some of your skin
but that can not be done to day so take it with a grin
now once upon a time without the scientists
if we were lucky we could see some happy naturist

I do remember those fine days when we just didn't know
that it would be so dangerous our body there to show
the future does look dim, bikinis they are out
and fully clothed we now must be it's healthier no doubt
if we just cover up a ripe old age we'll reach
but is it better than before when we went to the beach
