How do you do
I'm happy to see you
the day starts out so very fine when I get you in view
it's nice to have you near
and because I know I'm here
when I look in the mirror there and see my face anew
so how do you feel
you're looking full of zeal
and what do you have in your mind
to make our day ideal
it's time to make our rounds
and hear all the lovely sounds
we'll give this day a workout sharing joy by leaps and bounds
they say that life's what you make it
and happiness a treasure
that's best in the sharing
with friends there in abounding measure
so what do you say
we've got a brand new day
to spread some smiles around us
and chase all the gloom away
here comes our chance to shine
helping build a day so fine
and making people wonder
where we found our great design
now that you're here
let's chase away the fear
and head on out to sprinkle this old world with drops of cheer
forget about the past
and we'll leave the folks aghast
in wonder that just we two can make the sunshine last
they say that life's what you make it
and happiness a treasure
that's best in the sharing
with friends there in abounding measure
so what do you say
we've got a brand new day
to spread some smiles around us
and chase all the gloom away
here comes our chance to shine
helping build a day so fine
and making people wonder
where we found our great design
so now that you're here
let's chase away the fear
and head on out to sprinkle this old world with drops of cheer
forget about the past
we'll leave all the folks aghast
in wonder that just we two can make sunshine last
